Debadging

Removing the badges is quite easy, but there are two considerations when doing this:

PoloG40 - There are two location holes under the badge on the tailgate. They are underneath the second "o" and the "0" of the "Polo_G40" badge, with the "P" being held by adhesive tape!

Catalyst - This is simply held on with adhesive tape.

Get a hairdryer on the badges, or if you're careful a heat gun, and gently pull them away. Use some "tar and glue" remover to clean up the mess and hey presto! - alternatively be a lazy git like me and get someone else to do it!

I tried to put one of the badges from the Mk4 Polo on, but it didn't quite cover the location holes. Others have used the VAG Supercharged badges to carefully cover the holes. Or you could pay the pennies and have the wholes filled.
