I bought the car of a guy at my local Club GTI meeting after wanting one since I was 14. After owning a mk2 squareback and previously a GT, it was time for G ownership. A quick blast out in Alex's G and that was it i was hooked. I kept my eyes open, but nothing appeared to jump out the blue at the right price. As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait, I was offered first refusal at my local meet on a sunday afternoon in late March. It was parked outside, and after a short spin, it had to be mine.
The car has been well looked after all its life by a Prodrive engineer since 26k, so theres no suprise that it drives like new. I will probably do about 3-4k miles in it this year mainly attending Shows and frightening my mates on sunday evening blasts, before it gets taken off the road and parked in my Nans garage while i do my final year at University.
I maybe living on tesco value beans for a year, but hey i will have an immaculate G40 parked in the garage. :-)
